in this journal, you'll be kept up to date with news and information important for club members to know. we've moved our club news over to this journal because it seems the shoutboard wasn't being noticed as much, so this is our way of passing on messages to all members.  the journal will most likely be updated once every 1 or 2 weeks (certainly not more than that), so if it comes into your message box, be sure to have a read!

Dear friends and watchers. It has been 12 long months since i have had the oppertunity to spend some time with you here in this club. Though i have no real excuse to offer, except for forgetfulness and school, i do hope to do something about this.
As an apology to you all, i have given this club a subscription for 3 months. those of you who are savvy in the art of css are welcome to create one for us all - the subscription will not come through for a few more days yet, so you have some time

as for the notes.. wow.. eager new members.. if you have sent a note, please be patient, i know i'm a little late - and thus things will be going slowly.. i will try to get things organised as fast as possible.

for members: those who were already members, if you watch this club, and find your name is not listed in the members [all member names have been removed due to confusion on my part. apologies] and affiliate listing, please feel free to send a note asking to join the club again. it doesnt take long to send a note, so hopefully y'all dont get too upset with me. - IMPORTANT - please title your note as  "Join club" so that i can categorise it. thank you.

for leavers: if you were a member and wish to leave, please let me know so i can remove your artwork; please provide the link to the artwork[s] in the LOTR gallery that you wish to have removed. - IMPORTANT - please title your note as "Leaving" so that i can categorise it. thank you.

for affiliates: no new changes here. But if anybody notices that we are watching dead clubs, please let me know. I do not wish to advertise clubs that have been abandoned for over 18 months. - IMPORTANT - please title your note in regards to abandoned clubs as "Dead club" so that i can categorise it. thank you.

for competitions: please give me a week or two, to come up with something. i've been reading the book, of late, and as someone whos only ever seen the movies, much more interesting things have come to light. while you wait for a competition title to come up, perhaps go have a read of the LOTR, as a kind of inspiration boost for anything that comes up.
